While working with Discovery Digital Networks, I produced roughly 300 episodes of DNews (now called Seeker), a science and technology web series with 2.4 million YouTube subscribers. I was responsible for both the creative vision of the show and the daily production, pitching story ideas, reading and editing scripts, directing talent, supervising post-production, and managing the team’s associate producers and interns. I also maintained the show’s rigorous production calendar. With 10 episodes a week, no area of science, technology, or medicine went unturned!
The above episode was a breaking news story that I conceptualized, wrote, and produced in less than five hours. Below are videos about how liquid water can have more than one state and what happens when you swallow gum. Each of these garnered over a million views in just over a week.
