When the Smithsonian Institution decided to launch its first ever Kickstarter project to conserve, digitize, and display Neil Armstrong’s spacesuit in the National Air and Space Museum, they knew video would be an integral part of the campaign. I produced and coordinated the main campaign video, which ran on the Kickstarter project page, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms. I also produced several videos updating supporters during the campaign’s run. The project soared past its initial goal of $500,000 in just five days, ultimately raising nearly $720,000.
